Mission Statement
Our mission is the Empowerment of as many 19-29 year old high school and college graduates as possible with their own Health Savings Account linked to a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) every year of graduation.
Caring Parents and Grandparents need to know about the fact that anyone, even disinterested people and especially employers, can fund the Health Savings Account of any one else. For every child who graduates the one thing that they most often neglect to get is health insurance coverage. For parents then, it makes sense to donate the first year of insurance coverage as well as fully fund the accompanying Health Savings Account as it is an important act of empowerment for the child that has successfully graduated.
It is also part of our mission to encourage Churches, Civic Groups, College Endowments, and Private Foundations, of every stripe, to set as a goal the empowerment of as many graduates as they can each year of graduation.
We estimate that when the ‘Top 100’ of the College Endowments and the Private Foundations commit to the goal of providing just 20% of their annual required distribution of 5% per year. We calculate then that over 250,000 young people can start on their way in the world with their own Health Savings Account and therefore health insurance independence, each and every year.
